【9/4更新】Apple Silicon M1へのアプリ対応状況まとめとネイティブ対応しているか確認する方法

2021年9月4日現在、多くのAdobe主要アプリが対応しネイティブ対応が進んできています🎉

我慢していたクリエイターの方も、そろそろ手を出しても良いかも？

ParallelsでWindows10を動作させることも、一応可能です。詳細は以下。

Apple Silicon対応か判別する方法

Apple Silicon(M1)はIntel CPUと異なりArmアーキテクチャで動作するため、従来のアプリケーションをそのまま動作させることができません。

Rosettaをインストールすれば動作させることが可能になりますが、

変換をはさむため ほとんどの場面でパフォーマンス低下が生じます。

Apple Siliconの性能をフルに引きだすには、アプリケーション側がネイティブ対応している必要があります。

ネイティブ対応しているか判別する方法は、以下の通りです。

• Finderからアプリケーションを右クリック
• 情報を見るをクリック
• 一般情報の項目の種類を確認

アプリケーション(Intel)と表示されている場合はRosetta互換動作、アプリケーション(Universal)と表示される場合はApple Siliconネイティブ動作します。

※Universal以外の表記のときもあります。

以上が、Apple Silicon対応か判別する方法です。

Apple SiliconでWindows10を実行する

Apple Silicon(M1)搭載MacではCPUアーキテクチャが違うため、仮想マシンやBootCampで通常のWindowsを動作させることができません。

ParallelsはApple Siliconのネイティブ対応が完了していますが、MicrosoftさまがARM版（M1対応）Windows10のライセンスを一般提供していないので、現時点(9/4)では一般ユーザーはM1 MacでWindowsを実行するのは難しい状態です。

しかし完全に不可能というわけではなく、Windows Insider向けに配布されているARM版Windows10のバーチャルディスクイメージを用意すれば、ParallelsやVMWareなどの仮想マシンを使用してM1 MacでWindows10を動作させることが可能になります。

実際にM1 MacBook AirでParallelsを使ってWindows10を動作させてみたのですが、動作は極めて快適でした。M1すごい。

前置きが長くなりすぎてしまいました。すみません。

OneDrive

現時点（2021年7月21日）ではネイティブ非対応ですが、Microsoftは2021年後半にネイティブ対応版をリリースすると発表しています。

ちなみに、AdobeのブログによるとM1にネイティブ対応したPremiere Proはインテルベースのシステムと比較した場合平均で77%動作が高速化しており、個別の動作では

• 起動が50%高速化
• プロジェクトを開く処理が77%高速化
• プロジェクトの保存が168%高速化
• Adobe Senseiを搭載したシーン編集検出が少なくとも430%高速化
• XAVC Sの4K映像読み込みが187%高速化
• ProRes 422へのエンコードが129%高速化

という よくわからない変化を遂げています。
